If you Sign in with Apple, we receive an opaque Apple user identifier and (optionally) an Apple-relay email. When you purchase Migraine Map Pro, Apple shares an anonymous StoreKit transaction so we can confirm your subscription is active — no card or address information ever reaches us.
Attack logs, daily signals, medications, sleep, weather, menstrual-cycle phase and trigger data are stored in SwiftData on your device and are not transmitted to us unless you opt-in to (a) iCloud sync — encrypted by Apple — or (b) the optional Provider PDF export, which is stored on our private Cloudflare storage and accessible only via a signed short-lived URL.
If you grant Migraine Map permission, we read sleep duration, heart-rate variability, resting heart rate, blood-oxygen, menstrual cycle phase, and headache-symptom samples to feed your on-device trigger correlator. We write headache attack logs back to Apple Health so your other apps can see them. None of this Health data is transmitted off-device under our control. We do not use the Clinical Health Records API.
We query the Apple WeatherKit service for barometric pressure, humidity, UV, and temperature forecasts using only your approximate locality. Location is not recorded with your attack logs. Your precise location is never stored.
We operate on Apple iCloud (sync and authentication) and Cloudflare (subscription verification, optional Provider PDF storage). These providers act as data processors. We use no third-party advertising, tracking, or analytics SDKs inside the app.
Optional pattern-explanation features may send a short de-identified summary of correlator output to a backend large-language-model provider for plain-English explanation. No raw attack logs, no Apple Health samples, no identifiers are sent. Responses are returned and not retained on our side.
You can delete every byte of your data at any time from Settings → Delete My Data. Deletion is immediate, on-device and on our servers. You may also disable iCloud sync at any time. If you have questions, email mitsi@uptrail.ai.
Migraine Map is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13. If a minor under 13 uses Migraine Map, a parent should email us to request deletion.
Material changes to this policy will be surfaced inside the app before the change takes effect.
